For those of you who have never attended our in-person Gatherings or a herbal conference before: The Gullah Geechee Herbal Gathering includes- a weekend of informative and educational workshops that span Gullah Geechee culture, herbal and holistic health practices and other useful topics from amazing teachers of Gullah Geechee heritage and from around the Diaspora, an open ceremony with Libations and live African drumming, an African marketplace that highlights small black businesses from around the country, camping on Gullah Geechee owned land, wonderful activities, phenomenal food, children's activities and and opportunity to network and share with like minded individuals from around the country.

The Gullah Geechee Herbal Gathering is a family-focused, un-apologetically Black Centered event and we welcome all Black, Indigenous, and Gullah Geechee Herbalists, Farmers, Healers, Body Workers, Hoodoo Practitioners and community to join us. We want attendees to get grounded in their herbal practice through education, fellowship, community and nature. This conference not only seeks to educate but to advocate for the conservation and preservation of the Gullah Geechee herbal culture, but the bioregional ecology as well.
